When you get in touch with me, book me as your marriage celebrant or use this website, you may share personal information with me.

I take the privacy of that information seriously and will only collect, use and keep information that I reasonably need to respond to your enquiry, provide my celebrancy services, meet my legal obligations or run my business.

WHAT INFORMATION I MAY COLLECT

Depending on why you're contacting me, this may include your name, email address, phone number, wedding date and location, details about your ceremony and anything else you choose to include in an enquiry.

If you decide to book me as your Authorised Marriage Celebrant, I'll also need to collect information and view documents required to complete the legal marriage process. This may include identification documents and other personal information required under Australian marriage law.

HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

I may use your information to respond to enquiries, communicate with you about your wedding, prepare and conduct your ceremony, complete the required marriage documentation, provide the services you've booked and meet my legal and administrative obligations as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant.

I won't sell your personal information or use it for purposes unrelated to my services without your permission, unless I'm required or authorised to do so by law.

MARRIAGE DOCUMENTS & LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

As an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, I'm required to collect, prepare and submit certain information and documents as part of the legal marriage process.

Information may be provided to the relevant Births, Deaths and Marriages registry, the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department or another authority where required or authorised by law.

I am also required by law to retain certain marriage-related records for specified periods, including some records that must be kept for six years.

STORING & PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

I take reasonable steps to keep personal information and marriage records secure and to protect them from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Personal documents provided for the purpose of establishing your identity or eligibility to marry will be handled appropriately and returned as soon as practicable where applicable, in accordance with my obligations as a marriage celebrant.

WEBSITE ENQUIRIES

If you contact me through the enquiry form on this website, the information you enter is used so I can respond to you and, if you decide to proceed, provide my services.

This website is hosted by Squarespace, which provides the platform used to operate the site and may process information submitted through the website as part of providing those services.
